Has anyone else had this problem.
Having done more than 1700 LYs exploring ,scanning lots of systems,
on returning to a system that had a base i find i cant hand in the mass of data.
the game just crashes to the desktop and offers to make an error report
of course i make and send a report.

Yup, already since this morning (that means ~6 hours ago)
Something seems to be corrupt with our universal cartographers today

i had so much data i thought it would be great to see all the systems listed ,
I hope they can fix this as i don't want to have to destroy my ship to fix it
I wish to continue to explore but is it worth it for now......

Looks like an update ,hope it fixes the cartographic s problem ,fingers crossed.
Mouse on standby...fingers on keys...hamster ready...gerbil in toaster...up up and away..............

The answer is there ... at least for my cartographic data.
Unfortunately it is negative ... Universal Cartographics still lets the game crash

Might just be a server issue? I noticed during the last update that the cartographics would seem to sit forever with the spinning icon while the server hamster rebooted.

yes i noticed that as well took ages to get the scans handed in.
hope they sort it out soon , do you know if i change ships will i lose
all the data scans i have now or do they pass to my new ship.
