scan not detected...

anybody else noticed the cops outside stations scan you, you don't get notified, then the scan is complete?

It doesn't really affect me, lets see if anyone else comes up with it. It might annoy smugglers somewhat...

Yeah, seen this a couple times. Only ever leaving station, the security viper was following my movements but no scan detected warning. At the time I was in a sacrificewinder though and wanted to get shot down so it was fine.

If you boost out of the station they have no time to scan before you're out of range so it shouldn't effect any competent smugglers.

I have been scanned many times by the cops outside the station when not smuggling and I have seen the warnings just like any other scan....can't say I have seen what you saw.

Yup, seen it both ways, arriving and leaving stations, luckily everything was on the up and up those times.

Yep I noticed this last night. If they started the scan on the way into the station and you entered before they completed, then on the way back out you would just get the message pop up almost straight away as soon as you left the slot that they had finished the scan, without any of the scan warnings etc. I was clean on each occasion so I don't know if it would have actually triggered a fine had I been carrying anything illicit.
