I was thinking it would be a good idea to change the color on, the scope, of scanned ships to a different color then ships not scanned. It would keep people from repeating scans on already scanned ships while bounty hunting. Would love to hear peoples thoughts on this.

If you use KWS, he tell's you target status as: Complete.
If you don't have that flag, you need to scan.
No need to scan target twice.

What is KWS?
KWS is the kill warrant scanner, available in shipyards to be fitted to a utility mount, you use it to scan the ships, it then checks if there are any more bounties in any system, you then need to travel to the relevant system to claim it. But you loose all the additional bounties if you get killed before claiming them. There are more detailed descriptions on the forum
