Scanner scrambler

greetings,

i actually really miss in frontier the ability to aquire scramblers for scanners that could look like this:

Scanner Scrambler Low class
Increases scanner time (who you are, what your cargo is and if you are wanted) +10 seconds

Scanner Scrambler Mid class
Increases scanner time (who you are, what your cargo is and if you are wanted) +20 seconds

Scanner Scrambler High class
Increases scanner time (who you are, what your cargo is and if you are wanted) +30 seconds

Scanner Scrambler Stealth class
Increases scanner time (who you are, what your cargo is and if you are wanted) +60 seconds - but offical cops get suspicous after 40 seconds and give you a fine anyway

Scanner Scrambler Fake class
Really expensive but will let other think you have no cargo in hold and not being wanted. A Kill scan for your name still works.

I think chaff blocks scans.

The fancier false data scramblers sound nice.

Why dont you like silent mode and heat sink launcher, that already exists?

Neither of those block scans. They just need to get closer and they can scan you just fine while silent running :/

Every time I've tried using chaff to block scans it's failed. Silent running/reducing heat should help, but only if the scanning ship is far away enough.

Will this make the silent run, heat sinks and cold ship useless in smuggling?

its a matter of making the prices. The fake scanner shouldnt be affordable unless one really made a great bunch of profit.
