Scanning Clusters

Hi, When i Scan clusters of Asteroids, The scanning does not stop..it keeps on scanning when I aim at the cluster Target. Unless of course it is scanning all the asteroids in the cluster (of which I can not tell), but what I can tell is I have a lot of lag flying around in the cluster while mining. Perhaps due to the continuous scanning??

Dont scan them. Seriously, they are worth 0 credits. Dont even look at them.

Ummm ok. But where there is a problem it should be addressed for the better of the community. Not long after i posted this...the game crashed and sent an error report to Frontier.

Scanning communicates with ED's game servers. The game will barf if it can't connect properly, could have been your connection or their server at fault.

lol do you guys get major lag around these belt clusters Like i do? Have any of you noticed the problem of scanning them?

Why would we know THAT? You are probably the only person scanning something, that gives no reward...

It appears to be a bug if you have a Detailed Surface Scanner installed. You don't get any further information once the initial scan has completed.
