scans and bounties

Stop given scan missions then giving 6 day bounty's so we're wanted in the system and unable to turn in.

It's not exactly rocket science, well maybe it needs to be for you first year devs.

So... basically you weren't stealthy (or bloody-handed) enough, got caught and you're complaining about it?

I don't see this complaint getting far in the suggestions.

The scan/red zone alone should only be giving you a small trespass bounty, which will clear after ten minutes if you leave the system.

If you then shoot your way to freedom rather than just running away, the series of additional bounties that gives you will stack up into a full week - but you don't *have* to do that. (You don't even need to keep the SRV intact once the scan is done)

Also, you can hand in missions to stations you're wanted with - just don't get scanned by the police on the way in or out. Swap to a cheap fast ship (an Eagle, perhaps?) to do the mission hand-in, if your regular ship is either unlikely to make it, or is too expensive to risk. Or, if you're Allied with the controlling faction of the station - which you won't be, if you keep attacking their bases... - they won't scan you at all.

Alternatively, just don't take missions to scan a base belonging to the controlling faction of the station you're taking the mission at. It says on the mission who the base is owned by; it says on the mission board who owns the current station.
