Scare mazes and similar attractions!

Planet coaster looks absolutely brilliant and probably one of the best costed games yet, as much as I love roller coasters I love scare attractions too such as mazes and stuff which are a big thing for theme parks these days! and I think it would be an absolutely awesome idea to be able to create/design you're own maze or walk through attraction with actors/scare actor characters and scenery ect within it where guests in the park will react to this kind of stuff also unlike rct3. Just thought it would be a good suggestion seeing as the game is so great already you could make it one better by being the first game enabling you to be able to do this kind of thing.

I hadn't heard about Scare Mazes till today. It does look like some big parks make these events around Halloween.

I normally think of mazes made out of hedges, or corn fields. When I was young I toured a bunch of castles with mazes in Europe. I haven't seen a maze in a theme park yet, have seen them in some historical parks and in the fall farmers make fancy ones out of corn fields. More choices in the game the better, but I wouldn't be sad to see them left out.

Has anyone created a huge maze out of the current path system, with the path width to the smallest reasonable size? Then made the guests walk through it to get to an attraction? I was wondering how many turns, and path intersections the system could handle.

Well if we get a system for "Scare mazes" I'd also want it usable for making a Fun House...

I want a Special walkway path that count as attraction

  • You put an entrance and a exit. You have special piece where you can tell peep to stop, watch sometime ect. Or even elevator or moving walkway.
  • Guests can tell the team of the scenery clost to them so they react accordingly.
  • If there multiple way they can get lost or take more time to find the exit.
  • You can had interactive element next to the path.

Such a path system should have things like:

  • *steps
    *rope bridges
*glass floor/path pieces or grates(Floor that you can see through basically)
*Room bases(Basically a section of floor that can be used as the foundation/part of a building, and even butted up next to each other to make bigger rooms)
    *Conveyor belts
*Barrel passage(Basically a rolling drum such as what is commonly used as a fun house exit.
*Slides(Both straight and swirly, in a number of themes...)
*Floor fountains(Though I'd want this to be freely placable and something that can be used on regular paths and in plazas as something for kids to run through on a hot day.)

I like this idea....we could do a maze now built with walls from building and the current path system, scary lighting and some scary props from the Pirate theme....but yes, a dedicated customisable ride - like the golfing one form RCT3 where you could lay your own mini paths and courses....but a lot more flexible. Sounds great...both the scary maze and the Fun House.....

Fun Houses +1
Imagine building these with different sections to your own layout similar to go karts and miniature golfing in RCT.
Floors that wobble, spinning cylinders to walk through, the rubbery poles that block your path to force your way through, a great place to add the steam, smoke and confetti VFX [up]

So like an entire add-on dedicated to things like:

  • Haunted Houses
  • Adventure walk
  • Fun Houses
  • Maze

I love this idea. Just like they did with RCT3 with the wild and soaked expansions, It would be so cool to get an expansion that had a ton of haunted theming. This was my favorite theme in RCT3.
