I was just thinking it might be fun to organize a scavenger hunt to see who's the fastest/best/cleanest pilot of them all.
- Start in one location (everyone gets cargo-scanned to make sure they aren't carrying items already)
- Fetch 5 items (probably including a rare) over an area between 50 and 100ly (fuel might be a consideration!)
- Winner is the first person to get to the finish line orbital and vent the required items (that way everyone could verify that they had them)
Other than that, I guess there's NPC interdictions, goon posses, and outright backstabbing skullduggery possible. There might be casualties. I'm assuming everyone would be special-building their ships for maximum speed or survivability...
