well, chasing USS and getting all those mission are just very lucrative... doing same here... with an MK3 cobra and 36 cargo space.... Half a million in 1h30 for tongiht

I've done some scavenging at nav points. When NPC's are fighting, I'll hang out and collect any cargo they eject.

Call it scavenging if you want, but game mechanics wise it's a subset of smuggling, no way around that.
