Scenario 8 issue

Hey all,

So I'm having an issue in scenario 8 and I was wandering if I'm doing something wrong or if it is a bug.
For the bronze medal, you have to delete the toxic waste barrels. Using your temperature map you can find where they are. But I am only able to delete 3 of them. I still see a few more heat circles from the toxic waste. But when I go have a look, there is nothing there. When I try to modify the terrain, a part of the ground doesn't modify like you have with rocks and trees. So something is there, but I can't delete it.

You only had to delete 1 barrel to get the medal, but I really want to delete them all. Is anyone else having this issue?

I used the terrain tool to dig trenches and then you can see a barrel in the ground and delete it. Although technically for the bronze medal you only have to delete one barrel. I got rid of the rest slowly over time as I had the cash and my zoo expanded in that direction to prevent my animals overheating. But you can do it with them all still there.

Digging didn't work for me. Like with the trees and rocks, the terrain surrounding the tree/rock doesn't move. So I couldn't dig out the barrels.

I feel a bit guilty mentioning this as it's a slightly cheezy solution, but there's a camera control option which allows clipping through terrain. Toggle that and you can move the camera 'underground'. It ruins immersion a smidge once you realise the ground is just a thin surface, not a 'solid', but does make finding the barrels much easier.

Weird. Maybe we had a different setting on. Mine were default and I used the push button no problem.

I used the "stamp" option to dig big cubes of dirt where the barrels were with no issue, ever. Was always able to dig the barrels out.
