Scenery, Walls & Stations

Ok I need some help. I'm new to PCoaster and would like to know the following. I'm a RCT veteran since the original
Being used to those construction methods I seem to be having the following hiccips regarding construction in PC
A: Lift up the terrain under the platform of stations. So the ground is elevated with the platform on top. It seems to only go right under the platform with about 10feet to spare.

B: slope terrain under elevated paths. In order to create hills with a path running up it.

C:placing walls below coaster platforms, Its giving the "obstructed" message when I try to place a wall underneith. however its not obstructed!

Thanks any help appreciated.

A. You can't, at least not right now. You have to create the terrain first and then place your station.

B. See above. You have to create the terrain first.

C. Hard to say for sure without a picture. Try enabling advanced movement (the 'X' key) while you have your wall selected and nudge the piece around until you find the edge of what is causing the obstruction. The other option would be to simply disable collision detection.

A and B.
Terrain cannot be edited within a certain radius of paths. Coaster stations and flat rides count as paths for this purpose, so you have to build the terrain first, then place these things.

C.
In general, the only place you get obstructed messages below the station platform is where the track comes out. There are special L-shaped wall pieces that will go in there, however. This generally works better than trying to use regular wall pieces. However, some coasters like the wings are more than 8m wide so even these pieces don't always work.

A) you can workaround, place your station underground (*). you need to place it deep enough so the entire station is some meters below terrain. add entrance and exit gates is the next step. then use terrain tools to bring station to light. use very low percentage when it comes to the edges. connecting pathes to entrance and exit gates is petting if you want to avoid the terrain gap problem entirely, usually i work around with some building pieces and nature items like bushes.

(* the main trick is: grab your station from any custom ride, then press X to switch into advance move mode, then you can move it below ground)

B) actually impossible. see previous answers how you can do that. btw this way your pathes look more natural and realistic as when you always see the same angulated steps / uphill / all flat sections by creating pathways first. if you have created many pathes already and you just like to flatten it to the ground, this video by our member BitterJeweler offers a smart way to rebuild your actual routes : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVDpL1l0MZ4

C) use the new features in your game settings and disable collision for rides, scenery and buildings. then you shouldnt have problems to place walls as near as possible to your coaster track, even inside stations. moreover you could built directly through the rails, disappointingly this causes no harm to the trains when crashing into, even if you enable collision again, afterwards :D
