Scooping Escape Capsules

In one of the earlier Elite Games (not sure if it was Elite or Frontier, maybe both) you could scoop up the escape capsules from destroyed ships and sell the pilots as slaves.

I'd like to see a similar feature too in ED, maybe except with some enhancements

* a captured pilot could bargain for his freedom, i.e. offer you a sum of credits if you let him go when docked.

* on stations with a Black Market, or where slaves trade is legal, the captured pilot can be sold as slave

* If the captured pilot is a wanted criminal, you could also turn him in to the authorities for some extra credits or reputation

Of course this would only apply to NPC pilots, for obvious reasons.

Some great ideas here. I like the last one that could open a whole new game play, with the captured criminal faction trying to interdict at ever possible location to rescue their fellow faction member.
