And SCO FSD are better by default in any ship, and once at G5, its even better than old pre-engieered FSD's in terms of range.
Only "downside" its just uses slightly more fuel per jump and bit more heaty (like about 3% more heat during FSD charging), but its so minor, that is not noticable at all - it still have better optimal mass stats and that extra fuel per jump its also means better range, becasue of how the formula works for jumpin mechanics.
Just watch for fuel if going SCO mode, and watch that heat too, while at it.
Dont hesitate even for a second, its well worth, for any ship, to make upgrade from old FSD to SCO one, even if it means numerous process for G5 again (its easier than ever atm)
