Scout build

I'm building a krait mk2 Thargoid scout hunter to get my feet wet killing Goids (the filthy vermin). Killing scouts is a good place to start and learn.
To avoid a lengthy discent in the responses, I won't get into the details of the build. But believe me, it was designed by a top of the food chain goid killing Cmdr, very active on the forums.
All of the reasoning behind the build I grasp well, except the purpose of one item.

What is the purpose/point of installing a FS wake scanner?

What is the purpose/point of installing a FS wake scanner?

For killing scouts? A FS Wake scanner? none whatsoever.

But you could use a Xeno Scanner - it will help identify various types of Scouts... And find the damn healers and kill them first
Think they're named Regenerators.

I have the xeno scanner.
Looks like there's an empty slot for another S Booster.
Oh yeah, godda kill the healers, oh oh oh oh oh. (it's a Tim Allen, grunt thing)
