Scout combat bonds need bump

As above. I've been killing scouts in threat level 4 & 5 signal sources. Managed a fair few but my repair cost is higher than combat bonds. 10,000cr is kind of terrible. It should be 5x that. Killing alien threats to humanity should surely pay more than a pirate in a mk3 Cobra??

Agreed. Scout payouts should be at least worth as much as an elite dropship which is about 100,000 credits. The 10k credit bond makes no sense.

Scouts are perfect for ranking up in combat. If a want money, go to a hazres.
Btw: why do you have repair costs at all? Decon limpets and AFMU do the job in space ☝🏻

Good for you. Doesn't really address the question of the payout being way too low though.

Cant make to much money through combat, its an unwritten rule of elite.

Yeah right

Agreed. 100k per Scout Scalp is fair enough, imo.

I was being more conservative with 50k but i think most people seem to agree a 10k bond is far too low, and doesn't reflect the risk involved. I take a lot more damage in NHSS than res sites (or honking in systems for that matter). There's no sense to the economics in Elite - labour theory of value seems to be an archaic concept in 3305.

There is literally no economics at all. Labour/time value ratio for any individual activity is calculated by throwing darts at a spreadsheet, blindfolded. Only a role-player will tell you different.
