Hey guys. My screen has been freezing for the last two days. I'm pretty much mining all the time. The game still runs so I can exit using a sequense of the right direction keys. It happens every 15 minutes or so which makes the game unplayable. I tried new Radeon drivers, I also reinstalled the game itself, I switched off all the Radeon graphic functions to prevent any kind of interference. None of that helped. Anyone having these issues lately? Any suggestions?

This is a (very) long shot in the dark, but: do you have any Windows updates pending?
I've noticed that whenever the game starts acting up (CTDs, freezes, black screens), WIndows installer/updater* is doing its stuff and that seems to interfere.
* I have blocked automatic updates via group policy, but the updater still nags me with notifications about "preview of this" and "preview of that" I should install, and of course eventually the very updates themselves, if I don't succumb.

Hey Man, thanks for the reply. But no, I do not have any Windows updates pending...must be something else.
Smells hardware related. Check your motherboard capacitors for bulges and/or leaks.
Clogged fans can cause overheating and CPU throttling. These are mundane things but
worth checking every now and then. I clean my PC case regularly and I'm always shocked
at how fast it gets full of crap.
