Screen keeps going black

My screen has been going black today, sometimes after an hour or so and sometimes right after logging in. Is anyone else experiencing this or maybe have a solution?

The sound also stops, but a little window pops up at the bottom saying that I got 20 merits (from scanning a ship)

I'm using the Epic launcher, NVIDIA RTX 4090, Intel i9-13900KF, 32GB RAM.

I tried updating the Epic and Invidia drivers and verifying the game files. None of this helped.

I have been having a few issues this morning (for me) as well. 4 Blue Adders and usually black screen until I force elite to close.

The hamsters may be taking a break.
