Oh Frontier how I love thee, just let me count the ways. The biggest thing for me in the summer update is billboards/screens. I am very curious how they will affect the overall performance of the game. I ask this because many, many moons ago in a previous Frontier title I attempted to make a dark ride using billboards as custom textures. If any more than a few billboards were near each other they would all change to the same image. While I am sure this will not be an issue in PC I do wonder how many in close proximity will affect the game especially considering videos as well. It would also be nice to have screens with a static image that changes to video when triggered instead of the black screen they appear to be when "off". Obviously, we'll know for sure next week. Am I the only one really excited for these?

They showed it yesterday and they all had different image/videos running
After watching the live stream closely it looks the screens can have an off and on image and or video. Great news!
