Screenshot and Video Sharing - When?

Hi all,

When will we be able to share screenshots and videos recorded?

ED is such a gorgeous game, and I have a huge number of screenshots I want to be able to share, but that feature isnt available in Upload.

Do we have any ideas when this might be an option?

Would also help to show errors/issues as a picture tells a thousand words

This seems like a question for Microsoft. Elite has no control over Upload's features. In the meantime, there are other screen-recording techniques that just require a HDMI out to software on a computer. Total overkill for screenshots, but might work for YouTube.

Here's a bit of a workaround. If you have a OneDrive account you can save the videos there and then share them. It's a bit clunky but for screenshots I've been recording 30 seconds of the still image I want as a video, then I download the video to my PC (coz OneDrive doesn't display fullscreen) and when playing it back I take a screenshot of the image.

Not exactly a streamlined way of doing it, but at least it works until this function is properly implemented.
