EDIT: After playing about a bit more, I've sorted it. ED doesn't like you having your default Pictures folder mapped to a network location, it seems.

EDDiscovery can convert your screenshots from .bmp to something more compact and even give them a more useful name it will then save/move them to a directory of your choice perhaps that could be a network location.
