Screenshots in VR

Anyone know of a clever way I can grab a proper screen shot when using OR, rather than the two screen fish-eye image that comes off, without changing monitor in options back and forth from the rift?

Regards

Hey there,
You can configure the 2nd display so it shows on your monitor. There are instructions in one of the stickies at the top of the forum. Change the resolution from default to 1.5 times (sorry, i'm at work and cannot check), it should give you a reasonable screen shot. You will need to grab the shot using the Windows Snipping tool or something similar.
I've given up on this as I cannot get decent quality screen shot. I now do what you do and just change the display settings. I know it's a pain, but the quality is much better.
Happy Rifting.

These were captured on the stereo extra window using the print screen button but it can take 2 or 3 presses before it captures the 2D image.

High-res screenshots don't have the OR distortion applied. They always have a bit of a funky aspect ratio for me, where the left eye's view makes up most of the image, but since each eye doesn't get a 16:9 image, part of the right eye gets tacked onto the side. If you crop that out, however, you're left with a mostly distortion-free image.
