Screenshots?

I was admiring the screenshots over at elitegalaxy.org, how did they remove the hud and cockpit? Is there a key combo I do not know of or are they just creatively cropped?

I know some use a ship with the part of the canopy directly over your head is transparent and look up.

Shift Alt G removes the HUD. If you are in solo mode, Alt F10 does 4K screengrab mode, making the pictures so huge that you can trim out the cockpit and be left with a ginormous picture even then. Combine that with Asp or Sidey cockpits with huge windows for even better results!

Currently the Sidewinder and the Imperial Clipper have a section of the cockpit you can look through that has none of the framework of the ship obstructing it. That combined with Shift + Alt + G to remove any HUD markers will give you a clear screenshot with nothing blocking.

Here's one from the upper window in a Cobra, cropped out, but still vast due to being a 4K shot. Part of a series I am starting, something along the lines of "Instagrams of the future" (note, right click and open in new tab to get the full size and not the forum reduced size - and then click to zoom in on your browser).
