I'm assuming it'll be P2P like Elite, and will be basicalyl a pirate version of Open by the info I found. Could be interesting.

At its most basic, you and your crew of scallywags sail the seas looking for treasure. Does X mark the spot? Maybe it does, or maybe you're not digging in the right place. Exploring islands and caves, fighting undead pirates and of course other pirate crews too. Collect your booty and cash it in at various ports around the map.

Please note that this is still a technical alpha so the usual applies ie content can and no doubt will change. Also a strict NDA is in place so there will be no screenshots, videos etc other than the official ones until the NDA is lifted.
