just curious if there is a reset and when because all the stations are in repair mode and i was looking forward to trying those missions out for the first time.

Frontier stopped the Thargoid attacks some time ago. In fact they stopped all storylines. Community goals were stopped too and Galnet is empty. I expect nothing much will happen in the game storywise until release of the Next Era in early 2021.

The Thargoids are still active in the Pleiades and Witch Head nebulae. If you want you can still rescue occupied escape pods in non-human signal sources over there. Or join the AXI player group if you want to take on the Thargoids themselves.
