Search EDSM For Certain Type Of Planet?

Is it possible to search EDSM for certain planet types?

As an example search for metal rich terraformable in the EDSM database.

All I can see is search a system, but I want to search for a certain type of planet.

From the EDSM home page where it says "Search a system in EDSM database:" click on Celestial bodies.
Then on the pull down menu select Planets.
Then tick or select what you are after.

Yes. From the EDSM main page, click on the "Celestial bodies" tab, then click the "Stars" parameter and change it to "planets", then you can enter your planetary search parameters. It can only offer a 5000 LY search radius, so won't tell you every single one in the galaxy.

If you specifically want a full list of MR-CFTs known to EDSM, check out this thread. They are indeed very rare, with only 21 of them in the EDSM database - and three of those are pairs, so it's actually only 18 star systems, out of the 42 million systems currently on EDSM, where such planets are known to exist.
