Search option for on controls page. Docking (request) for example.

It would be useful to have a search box on the controls page because there are a lot of controls. It would also help if you had a pop up when you are using a menu to tell you how to navigate through the various tabs for example. There needs to be a little bit more assistance because you may lose a lot of players simply through frustration. I have gleaned most of my information via web searches because it's easier and quicker and frankly far more user friendly than the game itself, which just feels like you have missed a trick somewhere. Nobody expects hand holding but when menu or information is not simply accessible it gets annoying.

There is no short cut key for requesting docking, 'it's a process', and one that is quickly converted to muscle memory

I'd quite like to be able to press a button & have what it's assigned to highlighted so I can be reminded what it does, but inevitably ED has a lot of controls to assign and whatever way the options are handled it's going to be confusing.

There are external tools that can give you a crib sheet of control assignments.
