Searching For Catalog Name System

So, I was just wondering, unless it is just me (that can't search for these,) but I wonder if/when the devs will add the options to search for systems with more than two "words."

i.e.:
"HIP 62397" is searchable
"PRO EURL ZK-J C11-0" is not searchable

Anyone else wondering if/when as well?

If you're referring to the gal map in game, sometimes you have to click the search button, wait 10 sec then click it again.

Don't ask me why, but I've done enough exploring to know

After the second click it will begin to go to the system you're looking for

This is especially true for systems far away from the human bubble

This was gold, thanks so much, this solved my problem. It is kinda weird why we have to wait that much longer compared to the other named systems.

Check out the Exploration section of the forum. There is at least 1 discussion on this same topic.

A lot of time the name might not be the same, i.e. PRO EURL ZK-J C11-0 might be PRO EURL ZK-J c11+0 or another name entirely. It might not even be in game. I searched for all the hyper giant stars listed on the Wiki page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypergiant and only came up with a few of the stars. Which is sad, because I want to see them all! =p
Also like Derthek said, hit the search button a couple of times. I searched for HD 7583 and it came up some entirely different system that wasn't even close to that name. I hit search again and it took me right to it!

I can't say it on the forums, then everyone would know about the system D:

I can tell just you though, I trust you. Although, I can't let this secret get out in public due to the mind changing implications it would have. :/

Haha no worries, I get it. The system in my avatar is the system that sits exactly on the far side of the galaxy from Sol.

Rubish system, but it's always been a personal goal of mine to check it out. If you find anything interesting there make a post on the Galactic Mapping Project! It's an unofficial map set up by Erimus. It's a really cool idea, and it makes exploration feel purposefull.
