Searching for NSP

Wanted to check out some lagrange clouds & anomalies, EDSM told me Shibboleth was close by and had them. Quite simply, I don't see them. What am I doing wrong? Or were NSPs one of the things broken by the latest patch?

Where are you looking, what does EDSM say should be there? What are you looking for? Do you see anything in the FSS?

NSP seem to be quite transient - many around the bubble were reported gone before the recent patch. And patches often switch things around anyway

Shibbeth. EDSM said that system has Q04, Q08 and Q09-Type Anomalies, using the Codex section. The FSS has a lot of signals, I believe I know which ones should be NSPs, but because Shibbeth is a populated system, everything is already discovered and I'm not sure where they are. If they are even there.

Ok, there was, I believe, some buggy data where anomolies were originally recorded in systems where they don't actually exist, I think the explanation was they were put there for testing purposes during the beta but were recorded into the codex by some players. A lot of players went looking for them and never found them, that was fairly soon after the patch when the codex was launched so I don't think they ever existed in the live game. I'm not actually sure if there is any way to remove incorrect data from the EDSM codex.

That would make sense. Is it safe to say there are no NSPs in the bubble then?

I don't do bubble so I'm not really sure on that, there are some very close though, I just passed through a system with NSP's where I am, it's only around 1,200ly from Sol, so a really quick jaunt, 20 jumps or less in a reasonably well set up explorer.

Puppis Dark Region B Sector YP-O b6-7, Legrange Clouds, Metalic Crystals, Mineral Spheres and Gourd Molluscs, and there's a nice tourist beacon only a couple of jumps away, to a couple of good reasons to go there.
