I don't know if this was changed or not, but it seems that since v3, the seating position in the SRV is just too low for decent visibility. I use VR as well as a monitor, and find it not quite right - it would be very nice to be able to adjust the seating position.
At least in VR I can do something about it, by squatting low into my chair, pressing HMD reset, then sitting up normally. It would be nice not to have to do this (often gives me cramp in my leg, sliding down to the reset postion!) and would be nice to be able to adjust the position in either mode of play. It doesn't really matter what position the UI is around me, I've always been able to read them without issue in VR, they are just in a slightly different place.
It also looks a bit silly - there's a huge amount of space above and around my head, yet my lower hemisphere vision is restricted due to the position. In VR, I use a female holo, and I can usually look down and see a nice pair of mammories (thanks for the silly auto-editing out of perfectly normal words and no, that's not why I use a female holo - honest!) but currently if I look down, it seems my head is in the middle of my chest.
Something is not right.
Is it possible to adjust this position with a file tweak? Then I can do something myself.
