Seattle - PAX West 2017

Distance from me to Frontier Expo 2017 in London - 5,548 km

However, the latest newsletter says Frontier will be at PAX West 2017 in Seattle and that's only 5,062 km away from me.

They are getting closer I suppose. [haha]

Well Seattle is a bit over 12000km from me but London is nearly 17000km, so Seattle is definitely closer for me......just nowhere near close enough to be any more viable or practical. :(

I know it's not practical for Frontier to come downunder though - at least I can still watch the streamed events so there is that.

Not far from me at all.

You have a better chance of being killed by a rogue asteroid while driving to work than you do winning the bloody lottery for the tickets though. :(

Well I'm only 2 miles from the London venue but can't go as I'm working and not sure if my boss would let me take the time off for a trip to Seattle...

The convention center in Seattle is about 5 blocks away for me, but I'v been to it an number of times so I won't be going to PAX. But I do plan on going to the meet-up. When ever it is going on and I happen to walk by the quote from Star Wars always comes to mind "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Only it should go " You will never find a more wretched hive of Nerds and Geeks." I warms my heart to see so many Nerds and geeks having fun :)
