Second Anniversary

At this point, there's really only one thing I want more than anything else.

The Microceratus.

If not now, then when will it ever show up in game? What DLC in any possible future could the Microceratus show up?

The Anniversary seems like the best time to implement it. It would be free for all players, gives a piece of Dominion for everyone with the big stuff being paid content, and it adds a tiny "scavenger" to go along side Compsognathus in the base game. Plus it's an animal people have been asking for since the first game, over 5 Years Ago (due to other animls using their Website Designs, and Microceratus being the only one from the website not added.)

Do I think this is what we're going to get? Absolutely not.

Am I dying on the inside at facing this reality? Yes, Agonizingly.

We are missing Microceratus. It would be better if it is added tomorrow or next month, this species can be used to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Jurassic Park film.

I don’t believe Microceratus will be added as a free gift. They already celebrated the 30th anniversary back in June, and confirmed on May none of their DLC packs will be a part of it. Aside from Beyond The Gates on the official JW channel, the 30th anniversary is focused more on the 1993 Jurassic Park era theme exclusively. It’s not really focused on everything else in the franchise.

If anything, the best thing I can come up with if it will be added is a Site B themed expansion, and as an only species in such a hypothetical scenario, because of how they approach JWE PDLCs in general.

It believe a second anniversary gift will be a structure of some kind instead. Planet Zoo has its own style of free anniversary gifts, and Jurassic World Evolution 2 has its own style.

While the Zipline Attraction was the free anniversary update last year, remember that we also got Nasutoceratops as a free addition back in Evolution 1. Many things are possible for this year's anniversary.

Nasuto was for a Battle at Big Rock tie in. But they still gave it for free to all players.

Microceratus has little to do with JP30 (It was bred back in 1986 as told by Dominion, it was also in the original novel, but I don't think that gives it enough credence). It has everything to do with Jurassic World Dominion, the movie this game is heavily based on. The film that got $40 USD worth of DLC and still omitted the Microceratus for almost a Year. It wasn't in Dominion Biosyn (rightfully since Micro wasn't in the Biosyn Valley) and it wasn't in Dominion Malta (where it should be since it was notable in Malta)

And ultimately, this is a Jurassic WORLD game and Microceratus is a Jurassic WORLD animal from Jurassic WORLD Dominion. Rightfully it should be here.

Microceratus itself has been a point of contention for a while. People wanted it back in JWE1, it never game, we wanted it in JWE2, didn't come, It was in Dominion but never appeared in the DLCs, it wasn't a part of the JP30 where it could've been apart of a Legacy DLC but that never happened, they had 2 DLCs they could have used to add it, it wasn't. So let's be honest, if not with the Second Anniversary, it's probably never coming.

In the original novel, Microceratus did appear in the park.

In the movie canon, Microceratus was originally planned to be added to Jurassic Park. However, the incident at the park and Hurricane Clarissa destroyed the factory facility in Isla Sorna where the species were let loose into the wilds. After Masrani Global acquired InGen, another variant of Microceratus is made for the Jurassic World park. There is no answer in how there are Microceratus being in Malta.

That free update to celebrate the 30th anniversary is nothing but a disappointing joke.

Now it is hard to say in which DLC will Microceratus be added.

BAD news for all that hoped for a great new 2. Anniversary of JWE II !
Just one single new Statue of John Hammond !

WOW.... after the one very nice Attraction as Gift for the 1. anniverasary just to get this single Deco-item for the 2. anniversary is just very .....very .....very.....very ....very... SAD !!!!
At least one Attraction or one new species or a few decos like fountains that look like Waterfalls/rapids would have been much nicer !
I hope there will be an Good DLC in December or this could be the Beginning of the End for JWE II .......which would really be a shame for a Game with so much potential.

Just so any of you know, the John Hammond statue can be placed in front of the Innovation Center in any map when making a Jurassic-World-type park.

Be vigilant for the next month.
