Second seat in the Keelback! What other ship tweaks await in Beyond Q1?

Very cool to see the 2nd seet in the Keelback today. Thanks Frontier! I need to get one of these now. Peeps have been asking for that forever! #freekeely and all that.

What other ship balance tweaks are you hoping for in Thursday’s beta?

I’d like to see:
  • Class 7 PD for the Type-10 Defender
  • Removal of restrictions on at least 1 of the Beluga’s slots.

Any other hopes for ship tweaks?

As far as Beluga goes, I always thought it would be cool if she got at least another two C6 optionals. I mean, there's certainly space for them, inside... :)
And I still keep hoping they're gonna double the Anaconda's hull mass to get her in line with the whole rest of the game, but that's just an old fools dream.

As for the Keely, YASSS! Finally.

Hopefully they give the T10 2 extra utilities and remove the AX limit.

Would be nice if they also gave the T9 another C7 or C8 so it isn't useless.

I was confused about the 2nd seat in the Keelback today... in fact, wasn't sure I'd seen it correctly, or that maybe they were just screwing with us on the live stream (using an extra seat just for today).... but yay!!! Apparently not. So, since I'm one of the console players who won't be seeing access to the beta, does this mean I could just go ahead & buy a keelback & then once the Beyond update goes live to everyone, the second seat will just... be there?

I want one of the beluga’s grade 5 to be unrestricted so I can fit my grade 5 shield there, and to see a grade 7 slot as well - possibly a grade 7 luxury cabin option as well? And since the beluga is basically the largest ship in the game, more slots in general would make sense as well
P.S.: The grade 7 is for the fuel scoop XD

Yes, buy the Keelback now and start engineering it if you can. It will save you a ton of trouble later. You will suddenly discover the second seat one day, as soon as 3.0 begins :)
