Security Camera $50 monthly running cost each?!?

I could've sworn that before the last fix the security cameras were something like $10 a month running costs each, and the wall-mounted were less than that to buy -- now it's $50 a month to run each one, and they're $100 a pop?!? [cry]

This is much needed and I honestly thing some other things could use some sort of rise in the running costs. It just makes you think how many and where to place them to be the most effective and not ruining your bank account.

There are few things the game attempts to do realistically. The visual authenticity of rides and coasters is the most realistic aspect of the game, and yet even that is not perfect. Everything else is a cartoon world that is not intended to be Planet Earth [wink]

Pricing does not accurately reflect the real world, it is intended to be a fun gaming mechanic. Now if you would like to say that pricing is not balanced, well thats a difficult thing to perfect. I do agree pricing could be better, but at least with the security cameras, I don't see an issue. IMO balance is more required for ride prestige [up]

Could be a pretty cool feature actually. Where you can buy second hand rides that are cheaper but also less reliable. The management would need to be re-balanced tho since money is never an issue.
