Powerplay Faction: Felicia Winters Security in Rhea

Good morning Commanders,

I was wondering if there was a group of us willing to provide security in our capital Rhea. I go there quite often and I've been interdicted by quite a few commanders. It seems like there is no resistance at all to speak of, and that is kinda a bummer. Amy I wrong in this or, because we are so small of a faction, that we are busy keeping up the walls to defend the interior. lol. No malice in those words.

Thanks,

CMDR Tavi

We at the FLC often run security in Rhea. But due to awful instancing we cannot ensure every CMDR is safe. But we do fight them as often as we can. Even as I type this our people fighting enemy CMDRs in Rhea right now.

Hey Tavi. Fighting the ImpTrolls who camp Rhea is a double edged sword. Most of the Imps who go there just want easy kills and they leave as soon as any reasonably fit combat ship shows up. The other bunch are people looking for good PvP. If we show up to indulge the PvP'rs desire for rebuy, then they have fun and come back. We dont want Rhea to become a PvP haven.

Safest thing to do is high wake when you see enemy combatants in SC, then come back and hope theyre gone. Last time I saw you, you were in a Cobra. The Cobra is the best ship IG because its the fastest, so you should be able to boost away from any fight.

If you get pulled in SC, submit, boost, boost, low wake towards station, and repeat. If you cant gey away then try low waking as soon as you see an enemy in SC, then High Wake out.

The FLC has a chat box for reporting sightings of enemy CMDRs, and usually there will be people online ready to help you out.

Thanks for the info Slurms. I traded my Cobra to a ASP Explorer, and since I bought it a little prematurely I kinda don't have enough credits yet to make it what I want, but I'll get there. I see your point though. If there isn't any fun to be had in Rhea, then there is no reason to go there. I got caught off guard last night with this new ship and no counter measures, but thankfully the CMDR that interdicted me and brought me down to 20% decided to just chat and not kill me. Phew. It was a ton of fun, I just thought it was strange that in our capital there wasn't a response force, but now I know! I'll be ready next time though, just a few more million.
