Discussion Sedati - Simple Elite DAngerous Trade Info

TL;DR Version
Sedati is a simple tool to make reading EDMC trade logs easier.

It is not:
- Crowdsourced. All data used are local, you will need to use EDMC to grab the market data.
- Trade Route Planner. Sedati is meant to be pen and paper replacement, it only holds information, you still need to figure out your own profitable routes.

Requirement:
- Elite Dangerous Market Connector (Market data in CSV format files) http://i.imgur.com/di8nxww.png
- .Net Framework 4.5

I've been scavenging all over the place trying out trade tools here and there. and I find them too hard and or too overkill to fit my needs. Some are just heavy . I've been fan of pen and papers but it's too tedious for me now., I want easier way to access my edmc .csv logs and figure out my own routes. So far ive been only opening them using notepad but it's very tiresome. I ended up creating this. Simple tool, very light, simple to use, no need mysql, no trade route advisor, just something that you can do with pen and paper and figure out the trade yourself (which I prefer be doing)

I have posted this on some of Elite related discord, on all of them, it seems no one interested in this, and they looked at me as a hardcore lunatic masochist trader. They were like, "Dude why don't you just use EDDB or etc for trading."

But oh well, I'll just leave this here, and I hope it could be useful to someone. To me, what important isn't the result (It's not about Credits per hour), but the process. I like the idea of scouting around with my Imperial Courier from station to station gathering the market info, then come back later with my 720 Tons cargo ready Cutter on the trade route I find.
Therefore I created Sedati, plain pen and paper replacement without spoiling myself too much as a trader.

You can download the program here: Sedati.zip (Simply extract, no installation needed)
Or if you don't like running random program from random stranger on the internet,
You can download the source here and compile it by yourself: Source Code

You are free to copy/use/modify my code as you wish.

How to Use:
  1. Run "Sedati.exe"
  2. On "EDMC .csv Folder" paste the direct path to folder where you save your market CSVs generated by EDMC. (Must be direct path. For example you saved it on your Documents folder, instead of entering "Documents\EDMC" you put "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\EDMC")
  3. Click "Load"
  4. Market data will be listed on the left side. Choose a station you wish to check. Press "Open"
  5. Fill the "Search" field to find specific station/system, then press "F"
  6. Use "Purge Older Data" button to delete old data (only newest will be kept for each station)

Stuffs that I would like to add in the future:
Start using Commanders Log to grab overview of your commander. History of systems you have visited, stations you docked, as well as trading history.
Or if you have something in mind that you want me to add, you can post it here. No ETA No Guarantee!

Thank you! [haha]
