Newcomer / Intro Seeing behind you??

Its a thousand years into the future... Humanity has the Frame drive allowing it to jump huge amounts of space.. We have ships that can travel hundreds of light years.. even thousands... BUT... we never figured out how to put a camera.. a viewer... that allows us to look BEHIND us. Not even a rear view mirror.

I bet they wonder the same thing onboard present day attack submarines

I'm glad we have a cockpit and a canopy.
I regard these as luxury items on spaceships, but we owe to say thanks for that to the passion DBOBE had for Star Wars and the fighters that appear in that Universe

Actually I use the camera suite a lot for this when in the SRV. You can move the camera a long way (I can't remember how far) so as to search-out details of a distant settlement, cache etc.

Yes, so do I but I think it's quite cumbersome. A quick zoom in/ out function especially from the SRV HUD POV would be very helpful.
