Just a thought (and possibly already implemented, haven't had time to log in since having this idea) but I'd love it if floating commodity canisters showed the Galactic Average price when targeted; it could be shown on the contact panel on the left side ship computer, just like bounties are for ships.
All too often I scoop up a commodity, hoping it'll be worth something, only to find it's worth a meagre handful of credits after scooping / supercruise to black market / dock / sell.
