Seeing Thargoids in Hyperspace

The Manual for the Original 1984 Elite detailed that the Thargoids can remain in 'witch-space' or as we know as hyperspace. every time I jump I see orbs of either orange or blue-white pass by rather slowly in comparison. just wondering if these are potential Thargoids waiting to snatch their next victim.

I don't know about actual Thargoids, but there are things seen during jump that could be related. Take a look at normal jump vs a hyperdiction jump. When hyperdicted the clusters of orange/yellow grow in number and the conduit becomes green and looks a lot like the other side of Thargoid exit wakes. The same orange clusters can be seen in normal jumps.
