Seeking advice

Hi all, I'm after some advice. Since the gamma I've been hostile to all but Empire, I've done tonnes of missions to try and redeem myself, earned just over 3m in credits, but I'm still hostile.

I even joined the Fed Navy, that hasn't helped either. So my question is this; am I better to just throw it all in and start fresh, or just struggle on with no end in sight?

Getting a bit annoyed that every time I seem to get somewhere I end up back where I started.

I started off as Hostile to the Feds.

I've earnt about 600k, mainly in "recovery missions" (rebel transmissions, military plans, black boxes) and selling off stolen goods (piracy against NPC's in anarchy systems, a few bounties since I got a K-scanner)

And I'm now at "unfriendly"

So you can improve relations. Guess it's just about taking the correct missions for the correct factions.

Yeah, I've been doing that too, but it just seems to drop to hostile again. For the life of me I can't figure out why.
