Seeking goods?

Was in Leesti last night, and I noticed a seeking goods around one of the planets. So I thought I would buy a performance enhancer, fly over and see what happens. Popped in, 2 type 9's, fly between them and nothing happened. Is this seeking goods different than seeking luxuries?

You need to Cargo Scan the T9's. They'll carry a little of what they're seeking.

Well I scanned the ships and nothing, nothing mentioned except the standard message wich in this case is uppers, downers, stims trips etc I assume this means narcotics

I am not completely sure but I as under the impression that "seeking goods" are seeking stolen or illegal goods.

The item Seeking Luxuries buy changes depending on the trending list.

I think the price for Narcotics is way too cheap.
I can buy a ton of food cartridge for 206 Gal/avr or a ton of narcotics for 240cr.

At least in the future I can look forward to cheap drugs.

Yes as mentioned above these traders are a waste of time, I'm pretty sure you would spend more on fuel(ship depending of course) than what credits you'd earn.

Can anyone confirm that they are only found in Lockdown states? Just noticed some of these in Huilliche, near Yembo. There were a lot of them too, which seems like a bug to me.

From my reading the whole simuation thing of the universe and its politics is very basic and has a lot of bugs.

Yeah that's a huge waste of time, I traded some seeking luxuries but I thought it was lame so Ive done Rares to get my Asp. And as far as the lockdown thing, I've seen 2 seeking goods, one system was and one wasn't on lockdown

I did once by accident - happened to have the right goods on board for the mineral magpie and happened to fly close enough. Price was ok, but you wouldn't want to rely on finding them.
