Seeking help from mouse users re: DSS

Hi,

Could anyone that uses a mouse share their settings for using the DSS? I find it so hard and clunky to use and the motion is not at all smooth and the experience is altogether frustrating.

Detailed Surface Scanner
X-Axis = Yaw
Relative X-Axis = Off
Y-Axis = Pitch
Relative Y-Axis = Off
DSS Mouse Sens = 18-20% (my best guess at where I am on the slider)

My normal sens is more like 12%-14% with a deadzone of about 42%

FSS Sens is about 50% with 0% deadzone.

Thank you CMDR Flavius Funk, I'll give those settings a try. What about the "third person" settings in the DSS menu? I've googled this matter before and someone on reddit mentioned that in an old thread, did you mess with those settings or leave them as they were?
