Seeking Luxuries ships vanish.

I keep trying to jump into seeking luxuries areas, but when I enter the ships show up, vanish, and the way point filckers wildly across the screen. Anyone else encountered this?

Same issue except for the way point thing. I jump into the Seeking Luxuries and the ships go into a hyper jump and vanish. whats going on?

i was just about to make a thread on this. I was doing some trading in a t6 and I just upgraded to a t7, went to sell goods and now this is happening...

I just ran into this myself. I took about a 10-20 min break and now they're working again.

It seems they lock geosynchronously with the planet from time to time and thus keep going without you.

Eh, just another of MANY bugs / and or not fleshed out "Features".

I've also got the problem that very often the traders just aren't there. It seems to happen more frequently the more other players are in the area. Switching to solo brings them back, but that's not really a solution, since trading in solo is even more boring than in open... hope this gets fixed with the next patch.

I am surprised that they are so frequent and so permanent. I would have thought they would be randomized and only remain for a set period/trading quota otherwise they just replace normal trading to some degree.
Same goes for rares, I was expecting them to be more random and opportunistic, they don't seem rare at all just 'local'
Both seem lazy mechanics to me and add little to the game apart from more trading
