Hardware & Technical Seeking Setup Advise...

Hi everyone... Getting set up to dive in and need some setup advise... I have 17" Asus ROG laptop, 32" HD monitor, warthog for right, t16000m for left, and don't want peddles... Monitor setup question...would you mount the 32" monitor so it is right over the open laptop for direct access to KB...or put the laptop off to the side so looking straight on at it instead of up??? Guess this is more of an ergonomic setup question... Thanks for any input or advise... So looking forward to jumping in...

Fly a training mission with each different set up and see how it feels.
if you are flying throttle and stick you will only need the K/B for comms anyway

That's a sensible idea... I'm just trying to get a feel for how others are doing it before going thru buying and putting up an extendable TV wall mount...then finding out it is better to have it the other way...

With the kind of money you're spending on two joysticks etc., I'd be tempted to buy an Orbweaver or Logitech G13 and have the main keyboard pushed back a bit - you'll only need to use it to type messages in the local chat.

I did just that...but got the Tartarus Chroma... Going to try just using the warthog right and Tartarus left...
