Seeking support to retake independent system from Federation hands: Athena.

I'm calling on all non Federation pilots to fly to the Athena system. Until the last Powerplay update my adopted system was a prosperous Independant world on the fringe of Federation space in the gap between the Empire and Federation holdings. Last update its now been conquered by Felicia (so has to die) Winters.

The system has two ringed planets in close orbits around each other excellent for Res site hunting. It has multiple stations and good mining and there are numerous systems near by for equipment and purchases. Its central location means you can get most human controlled areas fairly quickly. Its bright blue star makes for a pretty place to visit too.

Don't let the Federation scum get their hands on it. help the Citisens of Athena drive the orange blob of Corporate oppression away!

Well, chances are that the independent powers are not going to be the ones coming to "save" your system. That said, it's disappointing there's no way to "defend" uncontrolled systems without pledging to a power.

I'm no friend of the dirty dishonorable Feds but at least they keep their systems in some kind of order. Independants are one step away from anarchy.

I say let the Feds keep that flea bitten system (for now).
