Seems anyone who made any mention of combat logging was banned from chat

Sandro said several times on stream that combat logging would not be addressed on that particular stream, but people kept spamming the chat about it anyway. Usually just by typing "combat logging". I suspect that if anyone was banned, it was for spamming, not because combat logging is a forbidden topic (it isn't)

I only heard him say it once. But I did come in late. I also only mentioned clogging once, so not spamming.

Hey guys!

Any topic that becomes spammed in the chat will be removed to allow others to participate, whatever topic it be about. We in no way want to censor people discussing Combat Logging, however Sandro did address your comments in the chat and we said we'd not be discussing this at this time.

We have however made a note of your comments and will look to address them further in the future!

Thanks for joining in!

It is quite clear that combat logging is something FD won't talk about openly besides mentioning they will work on it - karma system is pretty much still in books. However how it will work and how it will be handled most likely will remain a mystery.

Yeah, FDev were quite clear that the new C&P doesn't address combat logging and people still spammed the chat. In fact, Sandro mentioned it twice on the chat himself that they acknowledged the issue and that it wasn't covered by C&P but would be covered later.

The spam was annoying, it fills the chat so genuine questions can't get through.

Hi Paige,

Thank you for your personal reply. All in all it was a very good stream, I just think that aspect could have been handled differently.

But we all know they'll never properly address combat logging. So it might as well be a forbidden topic, just not blatantly labelled as such since that invites bad press.

But they also want to hide combat logging from the plain view of the press, so they do what any other company that can't solve problems emerged from their own development flaws, they sweep it under the rug and censor it.

Never heard that combat logging will be addressed in the Beyond series of updates. so IDK why people even spammed it.

Because certain people are making their annual noise about problems with the game..whether it is the Nov/Dec outcry against the modes or the Dec/Jan outcry against combat logging....a group of people have orchestrated their voices and are trying to increase the awareness of these problems....as they see them.

Just like they'll never address the modes. <giggling maniacally>

The fact that so many people brought it up, and have been for a while, shows it something that needs to be addressed. This is a very important topic for the PvP community. If he would have even said something like we promise to address this at a later time, I think that would've been acceptable.

The way they did it, from reading pvp/Piracy discords, gave the impression that Fdev condoned cheating. I do not believe that that was their intention, but that is the feeling that many people got.
