I tried my first big money smuggling run from Robigo yesterday. With weaponless type-6. I was kinda nervous and had literally butterflies in my stomach when i took of from Robigo because I had read that you will get interdicted a lot and one scan indeed means fail. It was FUN and exciting, lots of interdictions and closecalls. Almost blew it at the finnish line, when fed security managed to start a scan, but it did not finish for some reason. Which was nice.

I never thought to try a Type-6 for the smuggling runs.
Nice work! You can normally out run scans of you're ship is fast enough, and a scan will stop once you've entered the station.
I normally try not have a boost speed less than 395 or 400 m/s ideally

I did notice back in v1.4 when I was sitting in the station at Sothis /Newholm Station, that I actually got scanned in the station ...so since then I just always immediately go to the hanger...been safe in the hangers ever since
Was a slight surprise as I always full reverse and drop the landing gear to shed speed.
lol you forgot to drop the cargo scoop as well, I did that in sheer desperation before lol...stopped a few meters ..sideways, just before hitting the glass tube that is at the back of the station lol....of course I was using D rate thruster...upgraded to A rated thruster & not had that problem since
Not true. The scan can continue inside the station as it completed once when I was inside the station. I believe the scan requires line-of-sight so now I thrust away from the station's centerline once I'm inside. After I started doing that, I haven't seen a scan complete within the station.
I started doing this as well in Horizons v2.0 ...so far no completed scans when I have had a scan started on me just as I pass thru the mailslot at the stations
