Select ship at start

Hi I was wondering if you may be implementing a ship select menu at the start of the game, or something along those lines.
Many players must have quite a collection of ships scattered around the known universe, and I would just love to be able to select a ship at any of the stations I have docked them at.
Any other thoughts on this? Or better suggestions?

Allowing players to select any of their ships when launching the client would allow players to effectively use an instant travel mechanic that would trivialise the grand scale of the game.

I would, however, quite like it if an NPC ship delivery service could be engaged (at a "realistic" in-game cost in both credits and transfer time) to deliver any of our ships to the player's current location.

I completely agree with both points. That said, I think that if you've got several ships all docked in the same place (and that's the place you signed off) it might be handy to have a selection screen upon logging on. It's not something I can imagine making use of though, I don't think I have ever had two ships stored in the same station

From what I recall there was talk of being able to have a ship 'shipped' to you from the remote location... not sure it'll get added though

Grab a Diamondback and use it as a long range shuttle, you'll get to where your ships are parked in no time

Please , please : No insta travel
We do not need to accomodate the easy part. A delivery service , well ok for a fee and the time it takes.
But I wouls think there are more urgent issues....
How about fixing the mess called PP ?
