selecting destination question for 1.3

As I stated in another post this is my first attempt to play 1.3. I am attempting to do mining but having trouble actually getting where I want to go. I select a destination like always, ex Gibson station. I fly to it and find that I am at cauchini 3 or whatever. Gibson was not selected but this planet instead. is this a 1.3 bug or is it me?

You first select a System in Galaxy Map. Type it, hit Enter or Click Button next to it or use Mouse on map instead. Then goto System Map and select Station with 1 click on Waypoint. Done.
Any miss-spellings take you to nearest one.
I believe RES is not on the map and you need select that on the Target Panel (left pane in cockpit).

lol yes that is what I have done for months. the problem is that now when I do it the second selection, my destination, does not take and I go to somewhere else in the right system. I am asking if t his is a bug in 1.3 or if I am miss typing. it has happened 4 times in a row now.
