Sell me on the beluga

Ok salesman. I'm a billionaire who enjoys a wide variety of game activities but not overly interested in making money since I already have alot. I own most ships but none of the Saud Kruger ones. I'm looking for a reason to buy a beluga. I know its stats on coriolis so not interested in those. Give me your best sales pitch on why I should buy a beluga instead of keeping my cash in a savings account earning 0% interest.

Cockpit view is second to none.
It sounds awesome.
In 3.3 all optional internals will be unrestricted.
It's big but flies like a medium, especially in supercruise.

It does get rather hot so some engineering is advisable.

It has a hefty fuel tank. With the module restrictions gone in 3.3 and a Guardian FSD booster fitted, it could make a nice explorer vessel.

what they said

By far, the Beluga is the best handling big ship in SC. I've flown one since a few weeks after its release. You can not pull me out of SC in it. Hundreds on hundreds of attempts, no luck, can't catch me.
Its very versatile. I can strip out the passenger cabins and run all cargo, run all passenger cabins, or a mix. I've made a ton of money with it .... stress free. I had a Type-9 way back in the old days and I've had a Conda a little less than a year (iirc); and evading interdiction is a little tougher in those ships.

Its beautiful and has a casino, a pool with spa, a movie theater, and open bars all throughout the ship. Who couldn't like it. GL HF

You can afford it.

You don't have one already.

Your monies aren't doing anything but sitting around. You don't want bored monies, do you?

Largest fuel tank in the game, makes it a win for Exploration.
Five Medium Hard points means it can more than defend itself.
Spectacular view.
Legendary Saud Kruger handling.
Supports Luxury cabins.
Fighter-bay capable.

Hands down, it's a tough ship to beat.

And, if you're really feeling it, you can do this:

Efficient? Not even. But hysterically funny and dreadfully satisfying? Hands down!

It NEEDS a jump range buff from FDEV and a bit of tuning on the heat. A ship shouldnt overheat without engineering but the Beluga does when trying to scoop. Low Emissions Powerplant is not an acceptable answer either to something that is A-rated (Low Emissions is for stealth builds anyways).

Aside from when Frontier decide to stop slacking off and FIX the thing, it's canopy is gorgeous. But again it's a Tourism/Exploration ship that is beaten by like 7 other ships in terms of jump range.

That’s the way to do it. I regularly shred deadly Anacondas with the seven Pack-Hounds on my trade Cutter. The five on the Belugas should be effective enough for most single NPCs the game throws at you.

At the right angle, it looks awesome. The control bridge looks about as big as my entire house, and the canopy is one of the best I've seen. I've been testing it a lot in beta, and it handles fantastically in supercruise, and much better than similar sized ships.

I did a normal exploration build in the beta, without engineering. A-rated power plant, A-rated size 6 fuel scoop (the biggest fuel scoop that can be fitted on it), d-rated everything else, and it look about 2 'n' a half minutes to fill the entire 128 ton tank. I throttled to 0 during fuel scooping so it wouldn't pick up too much heat, and by the time I filled the tank, I'd went through 3 heat sinks.

It scoops as fast as as smaller ships, but uses a lot more fuel: I replaced the 128 ton tank with a 32 ton (just like the Asp Explorer, Krait and Anaconda) and it only got 125 LY max range (whereas an Anaconda, can get 260 LY or more on 32 tons of gas...and my current Asp Explorer can get 432 LY on a 32 ton tank). So it's a gas guzzler.

If the fuel scoop gets bigger, and it doesn't overheat while fuel scooping, I'll get one.

Ok so far the salesman are putting up a decent pitch but I'm still only lukewarm on it considering the heat and small fuel scoop issue. I do like that ember paint job, especially in orange or blue. Hmmm. So far the biggest selling point seems to be it flys nice followed by space snob status symbol. Surely some one can seal the deal here?
