Damn! I made the mistake of going to Creative's website to see if they still sell mine. They don't, but now I want a new 7.1 so bad it hurts!

I'd rather get a set of proper stereo headphones and use surround emulation.

I was gonna +1 the Cloud II headset, as I have one and love it. But if the Revolver has better sound (Cloud IIs are supposed to be pretty good), and is as comfortable as Cloud IIs then it certainly wont be a bad choice either.

pros: good sound, very comfy, wireless.
con: don't like the power button design and the fact you have to press it for 3 secs (???) to turn on and off, but i like everything else about this headset.

extras: you can connect your speakers to the wireless transmitter, so sound will go to the speakers whenever the headset is turned off: no need to switch device in the os. pretty handy (sadly, this doesn't seem to work with the buttkicker amp so i'm back to sw switching for now).

sorry, just forgot: you aren't into wireless ... well, i wasn't either before i got this headset

Note: I did have to install drivers from Pluggable in order to get the right bluetooth profiles to get them to work with Elite: Dangerous.
